What are the highlights you are planning this year?   My highlight will be knowing students are confident, engaged and catered for.

What led you into your chosen career path?  I remember at a young age I insisted my mum buy me a whiteboard for my room, I would line up my dollies and teach them maths and spelling. 

My first career was as a chartered accountant but I always wished I had become a teacher.  After 10 years as an accountant I realised  I needed to pursue a career I was  truly passionate about.  I went back to university and became a teacher, it was one of the best decisions I ever made.  

Did you have a favourite teacher or mentor who inspired you?  Not a favourite teacher but a favourite quote. “The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book” – author unknown. 

What do you look forward to each day at MBBC?  Making a difference.
