Ed’s Farewell:
Well, after holding my breath and hovering over the send button on over 300 newsletters, taking and sharing thousands of photos, writing hundreds of media releases, initiating and navigating the intrepid waters of social media with MBC, designing countless brochures and flyers, managing advertising, bus stops, billboards, taxi campaigns, web updates, photo shoots, the production of seven yearbooks for both MBC and MBBC and steering amalgamation and jointly branded campaigns – it is time for me to say goodbye to the Moreton Bay Colleges.
What an adventure! I have really enjoyed my time here, the families I have met, the students I have watched grow and flourish and the people I have worked alongside and laughed with every day. I am grateful for all the opportunities and adventures I have enjoyed in just over six years of marketing for both colleges.
After studying for the last few years I am pursuing a new direction in counselling and writing. I am sure I will see many of you around, so it is not really goodbye but just goodbye for now.
