MBBC Hockey

22 November 2017

It is exciting for the future of MBBC and MBC Hockey and the development of our players that we can announce Angie Lambert (nee Skirving) will be working with all hockey players (primary and secondary) from next year. As a triple Olympian, Angie has represented Australia more than 230 times, winning a gold medal for Australia in Women’s Hockey at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Angie has worked over the last two years with QAS however is now, though private coaching and development clinics, concentrating on development of players in the Brisbane region – from representative Qld players to grassroots juniors.  Hockey is a relatively small sport at MBBC with only a few boys competing in co-ed teams with MBC at Primary level. With Angie offering assistance in this sport at MBBC it will give boys more opportunity to be involved, and will build skill levels of existing players.
