Call for families to participate in research study

23 May 2018

Clarissa Lui is a Doctor of Psychology student undertaking research at the Parenting and Family Support Centre at The University of Queensland.  The research project is exploring the relationships between parents and adolescents. This project aims to look at how parenting behaviours and practices influence the parent-adolescent relationship and the implications for adolescents’ well-being and mental health.

She is seeking parents and their teenagers (aged 11 to 17) living in Brisbane to participate in the research study.

Parents of participating families will be offered a free 2-hour parenting discussion group called “Coping with Teenagers’ Emotions” which is based on the successful Teen Triple P (Positive Parenting Program). More details about the study can be found on the project website.

If you require further information, please contact Clarissa Lui at parentingteens@uq.edu.au.
