Boys in Years 7-12 compete in the CSSA Swimming, Cross Country, Touch, Athletics and Volleyball Carnivals each year. We’re proud to have many Age Champions across the three disciplines.

In 2021, MBBC joined the Britton Shield Sporting Association, and boys in Years 2-6 compete in Aquathlon, AFL, Basketball, Cross Country, Touch, Swimming, Cricket and Football competitions.

Over the years we’ve proudly secured Premierships in all six disciplines. We’re a Mountain Biking powerhouse, winning back-to-back National Championships in 2018 and 2019 and have continued to place on the podium the last few years. The Moreton Bay Colleges Mountain Biking Programme continues their success, taking out the Flight Centre Epic Challenge for seven years in a row. The Sailing program continues strong with a team representing Nationals in 2022, with the goal of having a team in the Australian Schools Nationals 2023.

Sporting excellence scholarships are offered to students entering Year 5 and above, who excel in Sport and are able to demonstrate consistent and sound academic achievement and excellent conduct. Sport scholarships represent up to 50% remission in tuition fees. Please refer to the scholarships page for more information.

Years 3 to 12 Tennis teams compete in a range of gala day competitions as part of the Brisbane International Schools Tennis Challenge. Students in Years 6 to 12 will also have the opportunity to form teams to compete in the Super League competition, a weekly competition with fixtures played on Saturday afternoons over a 6-month period.
