Bursary Criteria
On the basis of referees and other relevant evidence and in the opinion of the Bursary selectors, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
- the potential to benefit from an all-round academic/sporting/extra-curricular education provided at Moreton Bay Boys' College.
- the four College Values of Engagement, Character, Care and Teamwork.
- a commitment to Jennifer Haynes' strongly held beliefs that girls and boys can do anything they set their minds to and that they always show respect for those of the other sex.
Bursary Guidelines
- The Jennifer Haynes Memorial Bursary is 100% remission of tuition fees.
- The family of the Jennifer Haynes Memorial Bursary recipient must pay for all additional and associated costs which pertain to the student included but not limited to stationery items, uniforms, camps, formal, semi-formal etc.
- A statement of financial position is required to be completed as part of the Jennifer Haynes Memorial Bursary application process.
- All applicants are considered case by case, there is only one Jennifer Haynes Bursary available for 2023 for a student starting in Secondary.
- An interview will be arranged with the Bursary Panel for shortlisted applicants only.
